Hesitate No Longer – Let Them Go

Hesitate No Longer – Let Them Go

God Still Wants You To Let Go

As indicated in my previous post, I believe God has been speaking to some persons about letting go of the things in their life that no longer carry His Life and sanction.

He wants these things released in order to make room for the new, however instead of letting them go in obedience, some people are seeking to “cut a deal” with God by trying to re-define, re-form, re-structure, re-mold, and re-make them into something “not old” so they can still hold on.

This will not work because in this season, refurbishment is not an option and besides, in God’s view, partial obedience is disobedience.

What old, dry, brittle, lifeless, things are you holding onto that you know in your core that the Lord has told you it’s time to release, yet you continue to hold on to?

A position, friendship, relationship?

A job, career, investment?

A denomination, place of fellowship, ministry function?

A habit, attitude, way of speaking, thinking, or dressing?

The word of the Lord remains.

“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland.”

Isaiah 43:18, 19 – NIV

Letting Go Is A Must

Stop trying to give CPR to the things God has declared dead for you.

You must let go of the old in order to embrace the new.

Cut the mental, emotional and relational ties.

Release the invested time, effort, energy, money, and service.

Erase the ideas, visions, and notions.

Loose the memories, accomplishments, and failures.

Refuse to let the fear of being talked about, misunderstood, ridiculed, frowned upon, rejected, condemned, or of suffering people-imposed guilt or not knowing the next step stop you.

Take that God-inspired leap of faith and make way for the new.

You can’t move forward looking back.

You can’t embrace the future holding on to the past.

You can’t hold on to the old with one hand and try to receive the new in the other…not in this season.

Hesitate No Longer

If God says shut it down, let it go, cut it off, put it away, erase it, leave it alone, loose it, walk away, by His Grace do it and position yourself for the new.

Get away from the old things that God is speaking to you about.

Fully abandon them.

According two Jesus, new wine cannot be put into old wineskins.

“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

Matthew 9:16-17 (NIV)

New wine can not be placed in old wineskins. The wineskin will burst and be destroyed and the wine will be spilt onto the ground and wasted.

“Besides, who would patch old clothing with new cloth? For the new patch would shrink and rip away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger tear than before. 22 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.”

Mark 2:21-22 (NLT)

New wine can only be put into new wineskins.

Letting go of the old, lifeless things in your life is crucial, critical, and absolutely necessary in order to walk into the new God has for you, and for Him to position you to be a part of His coming move that is on the horizon in the spirit realm, and that will permeate the stratosphere of every kingdom on the earth.

Hesitate no longer...God is waiting on you.

“Stop dwelling on the past.
Don’t even remember these former things.
19 I am doing something brand new, something unheard of.
Even now it sprouts and grows and matures.
    Don’t you perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and open up flowing streams in the desert.

(Isaiah 43:18, 19 – TPT)

Your surrender and obedience will end your present inner conflict and replace it with inner peace, and that inner peace will be an anchor to your soul as you trust God to help you navigate whatever lies ahead.

So, inner peace or inner conflict?…Which will you choose?

A Prayer For Us All

Father, help us to let go of the old lifeless things that You have told us to let go of so we can embrace the new. Thank You for giving us new wineskins as we release the old, and make us into new wineskins so we can receive, hold and pour forth Your new wine according to Your will in the season to come. I ask these things In Jesus’ Name…Amen.

Be encouraged!

Let Go Of The Dead Things

Let Go Of The Dead Things

Holding On To Dead Things

Can you imagine a tree, covered in old, dry, brittle, lifeless, brown leaves yet refusing to shed them?

A tree, knowing in its core that new, crisp, vibrant, life-filled, green leaves are inside it waiting to burst forth, yet refusing to shed the old, dry brittle lifeless brown ones, perhaps because they’ve been in their place for a long time, and have functioned well and still have their form and still give shade…but they have no life

Can you imagine a tree doing that?

But before you scoff at and criticize the tree, take a look at your own life.

Are you like that tree in any way?

What old, dry, brittle, lifeless, things are you holding onto that you know in your core that the Lord has told you it’s time to release, yet you continue to hold on to?

A position, friendship, relationship?

A job, career, investment?

A denomination, place of fellowship, ministry function?

A habit, attitude, way of speaking, thinking, or dressing?

What old, dry, brittle, lifeless, things are you holding on to that the Lord has told you it’s time to release?

You know that these things no longer carry life.

You know in your heart that they are dead, yet you still continue to give them CPR and to hold on to them.

It’s Time To Let Go

Two things can not occupy the same space.

The old old must go in order for the new to come.

Today the Lord says…

“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland.”

Isaiah 43:18, 19 – NIV

What are you going to do?

Let this be your moment of change.

By the grace of God stop giving CPR to the dead things in your life…shed those old, dry, brittle, lifeless, brown leaves…loose them and let then go.

God wants to do a new thing in and through you and wants to get new things to you.

So shun fear, pride or whatever may be holding you back.

Trust God and take the leap of faith today.

Release the old things that God has spoken to you about and make room for and position yourself to receive the new.

God is waiting on you.

“Stop dwelling on the past.
Don’t even remember these former things.
19 I am doing something brand new, something unheard of.
Even now it sprouts and grows and matures.
    Don’t you perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and open up flowing streams in the desert.

Notes To Encourage, Edify and Comfort

Notes To Encourage, Edify and Comfort

Stand Fast

Stand fast and fear not.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Let your faith, hope and trust rest in Him.

Be diligently about the Father’s business.

Be led by the Holy Spirit.

Walk in peace.

Walk in love.

Seek to win souls….share the Good News of the Kingdom, the message of Salvation, and the glorious hope we have in Christ.

Make disciples….take the time to impart some of what God has given you to other Believers to help them grow strong and mature in the Faith.

Don’t get weary in well-doing, nor distracted and paralyzed by the cares of this world.

Stand fast.

Stay Focused

Be careful not to get caught up in vain arguments with those opposing the Faith.

Remember that the things of the Spirit are spiritually discerned and understood, and God is the revealer of Truth; you cannot force others to believe or to agree.

Remember also that our battle is not against flesh and blood; it is not against human beings.

It is against satan and demonic forces…..principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Trying to fight spirit with flesh is vain.

Clothe yourself in the whole armor of God so you may be able to withstand in these evil days and fight with the mighty spiritual weapons He has given us…..the Word, the Name of Jesus, and the Blood of Jesus.

Stay focused.

Walk Worthy

Walk worthy of the calling of God on your life.

Do not bring reproach to the Name of Christ.

Live according to the principles, morals and ethics of the Word.

Know that Grace is not a license to sin.

Be a shining example to others that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Know that everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution so don’t be discouraged or dismayed when it comes.

Blessed are you when you suffer persecution for righteousness sake because yours is the Kingdom.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Jesus; rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven.

You can not be a friend of the world and a friend of God.

Walk worthy.

Do Not Be Moved

Do not be moved by the rising tide of hatred and antagonism toward Believers in Jesus Christ.

Do not be moved by the scorners of The Word, its truths, principles, practices and morals.

Do not be moved by the mockers of the Church, God’s chosen and called out people.

Do not be moved by the insidious spirit of the antichrist.

Anchor down in God.

Do not be moved.

Be Encouraged

Know the Most High God, your Father, is Sovereign.

He is the only True and Living God, Jehovah, the Self-Existing Eternal One.

He is Holy, Almighty, All-Powerful, Loving and Wise.

There is none like Him……there has been and never shall be!

His Kingdom is eternal.

His Word is eternal, true and forever settled in heaven.

His purposes shall stand.

The gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church, and you are His Church.

Be encouraged.

Know God Loves You

God loves you.

No natter what happens, hold fast to this Truth.

Nothing can change it…don’t let circumstances cloud it.

God loves you so much that while you were still a sinner, He gave His only Son up to die a horrendous death on a cross for you so He could redeem you to Himself and have a relationship with you.

What love!

God’s love for you is immeasurable.

His love for you is everlasting.

There is nothing that can separate you from His love.

Know God loves you.

No matter how the enemy rages against the Most High God, His Word, His Kingdom, His Plans, His principles, His Purposes and His People, he shall not prevail so keep standing, keep believing, keep hoping, keep trusting, keep praying, keep obeying, keep worshipping, keep praising and hold on to your Faith because in the end, we win!

Redeem The Time While In Curfew And Lockdown

Redeem The Time While In Curfew And Lockdown

Curfew And Lockdown

All across the globe millions of people are confined to their homes in curfew or lockdown in an effort to stem the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

I really do believe these days of separation and isolation are not just for that purpose, but are also God’s incubation tools wherein He desires to prepare His people in various ways for what is to come.

Redeem The Time

To this end, I pray that as we obey the instructions of our governments and remain confined to our homes, by God’s grace, we as His people will make the most of our time…that we will have ears attuned to His voice and will seek, hear and yield to His revealed will and come out on the other side of this as He intends.

Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.”Ephesians 5: 16-17 NLT

Be encouraged to redeem the time.

Guard Your Anointing

Guard Your Anointing

I received the following prophetic word, “Guard Your Anointing” by Elaine Tavolacci this morning via my subscription to her website, http://www.awordinseason.info

I believe is a timely word and as such, am re-blogging it with her permission.

By Elaine Tavolacci

The Lord gave me a profound word this week. It may be lengthy but I’d like to share the story from the book of Judges Chapters thirteen to sixteen before I share the word. There was a man in the bible named Samson. Samson’s mother was barren but an angel appeared to her and told her that she was going to have a son. He said that she was not to drink any wine and no razor shall come upon his head because he was called to be a Nazarite dedicated to God from the womb. A Nazarite was an Israelite who followed a rigorous regimen of purity and was consecrated and separated unto God. The angel also told her that her son was going to begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

The angel reappeared to her and her husband Manoah after he prayed. They didn’t recognize that it was an angel as they spoke to him because he appeared as a man although his countenance was as an angel. He repeated to her husband what he had told her. He told them to prepare a burnt offering on an alter before the Lord. As they sacrificed a goat to the Lord, the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, and the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell with their faces to the ground realizing that it was an angel sent by God.

Samson was the last judge of Israel. Every time the Spirit of the Lord came upon him he had supernatural strength. He married a Philistine woman against Gods will and she left him. He killed a lion with his bare hands, he tied up 300 foxes and set their tails on fire to burn down all the vineyards, another time when the Philistines captured him, he broke out of shackles and killed 3,000 men with a jawbone of a dead donkey. One time the Lord brought water out of the ground to strengthen him.

Samson met with a harlot which opened the door for destruction in his life. He then fell in love with a woman named Delilah. We all know the story but there is a lot of metaphors and revelation in the story. Delilah was sent to pervert Samson’s destiny. The rulers of the Philistines went to Delilah and said, “We want to know what makes Samson so strong. Try to trick him into telling you his secret”. Then we will know how to capture him and tie him up. They then offered her a large amount of silver in return.

Delilah insisted that Samson tell her how he obtained his strength. ” Samson lied to Delilah three times before telling her the truth of his strength. He then told her that his strength was from his hair and that he never had it cut. This was part of the Nazarite vow. He fell asleep with his head on her lap and the Philistines came in and cut his hair off. When he awoke he didn’t even realize that he lost his strength. They then gouged his eyes out, put him in prison and made him a grinder. His hair began to grow back in the prison but he still didn’t have eyes.

They brought him outside the prison to perform for them. There were 3,000 men and women laughing at him and mocking him. He asked to lean against the pillars and cried out to the Lord to let him destroy the Philistines for taking out his eyes. Then Samson took hold of the two columns of the temple crying out to the Lord to take his own life also along with the Philistines lives. He then pulled the whole temple down killing the rulers and everyone there. Samson killed more Philistines when he died than when he was alive.

This is what the Lord is showing me. We have heard it said that Delilah represented a spirit of sexual seduction, but Delilah actually represents every seducing spirit. The devil wants to steal your strength. There are seducing spirits today just as Delilah who are trying to destroy your spiritual authority and your destiny. They are controlling, manipulating and sneaky. They will work through people, and they will try to seduce you back to addictions. These seducing spirits will try make believers backslide to drugs, alcohol or pornography. They are spirits of betrayal and dishonor.

Samson’s hair represented his anointing. When he lost his hair, he lost his strength. He lost his focus and tried operating in his own strength. Be careful who speaks into your life. Don’t be swayed by foolish men or women who try to derail you from your destiny. Don’t let others manipulate you. Samson’s eyes represented his spiritual sight and vision. The enemy wants to blind the spiritual eyes of every believer especially the prophets and the seers (Of God). Guard your eye gates. Don’t be deceived by the lusts of the flesh.

Although Samson began to gain his strength back while in prison, he died without receiving his sight. It is imperative to protect your vision. You don’t have to die in your sin as Samson did. Jesus made a Blood Covenant with us and through repentance we are able to turn any situation around before it is too late. Do not allow any seducing spirit to steal your spiritual strength. Your anointing and your calling are more precious than anything in the natural. Jesus is calling you to turn it around now while there is still time.

Judges Chapter 13 to Chapter 16 – Story of Samson

Ephesians 4:27 (TPT) – “Don’t give the slanderous accuser, the Devil, an opportunity to manipulate you!”

1 Peter 5: 8-9 (NKJV) – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour: Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

By Elaine Tavolacci

There’s much to meditate on and prayerfully consider.

Be encouraged!

To My Prodigal Daughter….

To My Prodigal Daughter….

My prodigal sister, I see you in the spirit wearing raggedy clothing…like a garment that has been torn and shredded in many places because of claws slashing at it.

I believe that this is symbolic of what the enemy has done to your robe of righteousness; you’re still wearing it but it’s ragged from his many vicious attacks.

Give me your attention for a moment…this is a word that expresses our Father’s heart to you…

To My Prodigal Daughter

My daughter, I love you.

There has been many trials and tribulations and the enemy has sought to sift you as wheat, but even in the midst of this tumultuous onslaught, I have been there with you, loving you and wooing you back to Me.

Do you not hear the soft whispers of My Spirit telling you I love you, telling you I forgive you, telling you in spite of all that has transpired, I still have a plan and purpose for your life?

Be still and know that I am God.

I will conquer the enemies that have sought to destroy you if you return to Me and begin to seek Me with your whole heart.

I will heal your wounds and mend the broken places.

I will turn your mourning into joy.

I will give you beauty for the ashes in your life.

Seek Me.

Return to Me.

You belong to Me and I love you.

I am wooing you today, I am calling you today, I am drawing you today because I love you My daughter, My princess, My love.

Do not harden your heart; I await you My child.

Know that you are not what you’ve been through…you are not what you’ve done…you are not what has been done to you.

You are all that I say you are according to My Word and nothing can separate you from My love so I await your return to the place in Me that you once knew.

I’m still there, waiting with open arms to receive you.

Come My daughter….come.

Prodigal sister, hear the heart of our Father today.

Run to Him and He will welcome you and hold you and heal you and forgive you and restore the splendor of your robe of righteousness.

I urge you, listen to Him, return to Him…don’t let the enemy win the battle.

“Come near to God and He will come near to you.”

James 4:8 – NIV

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 1:9 – NIV

“When he was still a long way off, his father saw him. His heart pounding, he ran out, embraced him, and kissed him. The son started his speech: ‘Father, I’ve sinned against God, I’ve sinned before you; I don’t deserve to be called your son ever again.’

But the father wasn’t listening. He was calling to the servants, ‘Quick. Bring a clean set of clothes and dress him. Put the family ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Then get a grain-fed heifer and roast it. We’re going to feast! We’re going to have a wonderful time! My son is here—given up for dead and now alive! Given up for lost and now found!’ And they began to have a wonderful time.”

Luke 15:20-24 – The Message Bible

Prodigal sister, like in the parable of the prodigal son, know that our Heavenly Father truly loves you, cares about you, wants you to return, and joyously awaits you..

When He hears you calling out to Him, He will respond favorably to you.

Don’t wait any longer…call out…run into His arms…do it now!!

He’s waiting.
