Keep At It

Keep At It

Keep At It

To those of you who are dealing with a difficult, trying situation, and who have been praying and trusting and decreeing and declaring and fasting and praising and worshipping and believing and hoping and waiting in faith to see a breakthrough…

And praying and trusting and decreeing and declaring and fasting and praising and worshipping and believing and hoping and waiting in faith to see a breakthrough…

And praying and trusting and decreeing and declaring and fasting and praising and worshipping and believing and hoping and waiting in faith to see a breakthrough…for weeks, months, and in some instances even years….

The word for you today is keep at it.

Keep at it.

Keep at it!…Keep at it!…Keep at it!

Listen Up

Don’t get discouraged.

Keep at it.

Don’t give up.

Keep at it.

Don’t listen to the voices telling you your stance in God is a waste of time.

Keep at it.

Don’t be moved by the apparent lack of progress in the natural for there’s far more progress than you can ever imagine in the spirit…where it really matters.

Keep at it.

Don’t believe the age-old lie that “God doesn’t love you and He doesn’t care about you or you won’t be going through this”.

Keep at it.

Don’t be held hostage and frustrated by your pre-conceived notion that it’s taking too long for indeed God’s timing is perfect.

Keep at it!

Don’t give up!

Keep at it.

Keep at it!…Keep at it!…Keep at it!

Keep At It

For those of you who are dealing with a situation, some for weeks months and years, and who’ve been praying and trusting and decreeing and declaring and fasting and praising and worshipping and believing and hoping in faith to see a breakthrough…

And praying and trusting and decreeing and declaring and fasting and praising and worshipping and believing and hoping in faith to see a breakthrough…

And praying and trusting and decreeing and declaring and fasting and praising and worshipping and believing and hoping in faith to see a breakthrough…for weeks, months, and some instances even years…

The word for you today is keep at it.

Keep at it.

This Test Is Your Storm

My Prayer For You

Father I lift up all my sisters who are suffering from battle fatigue today. Father strengthen them by the power of Your Holy Spirit in their inner man. Fill them with Your fresh oil. Restore, re-focus, replenish, rejuvenate, revitalize them. Impart a second wind of your anointing to them. Help them to keep their eyes fixed and focused on You and Your Truth and not on their situation. Even now, let them experience Your love, presence and power like never before and begin to trust Your character, sovereignty and authority like never before. Father give them the grace to not faint, knowing that the battle is only for a season and a change will surely come. Father empower them to keep at it in Jesus’ Name…Amen.

Encouraging Scriptures

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.”

Matthew 11:28-30 – AMPC

“Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.”

Isaiah 41:10 – AMPC

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace andconfidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”

John 16:33 – AMPC

“For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!],mSince we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.”

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 – AMPC

“Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]— To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).”

Ephesians 3:20-21 – AMPC

Keep at it!

Be strengthened and encouraged!

Hurricane Or Rather “Terrocane” Dorian

Hurricane Or Rather “Terrocane” Dorian

Why I Have Not Posted

It’s been just over a month since I last posted…yes, that’s quite a while.

Lots has been going on at many levels that warranted my attention making the time to write limited, and when available, truthfully, the inspiration simply was not there.

The most impactful of all events during this period was Hurricane Dorian, in my opinion better termed “Terrocane” Dorian because of the terror and destruction it unleashed on my country, the Bahamas.

“Terrocane” Dorian Arrives

On Sunday. September 1st, Category 5 “Terrocane” Dorian, packing winds of 185 mph with gusts over 220 mph and storm surge of up to 25 feet, made landfall on our island of Abaco, then a day later on our island of Grand Bahama where it lingered for over 36 hours, more than 18 of which it sat almost stationary, before leaving.

“Terrocane” Dorian was the strongest Atlantic storm on record, tied only with the 1935 hurricane that hit the Florida Keys, and the strongest hurricane on record to hit the Bahamas.

“Terrocane” Dorian Destroys

“Terrocane” Dorian left UNPRECEDENTED DEATH, and CATASTROPHIC DEVASTATION.

To date, the official death count as a result of Dorian’s passage is 58 and expected to rise as there are still 600 persons missing. Approximately 13,000 homes were severely damaged or totally destroyed, about 70,000 people are homeless, and the overall damage has been estimated at over $7,000,000,000 US Dollars.

“Unbelievable! Indescribable! Unfathomable! Mind-blowing! Terrorizing! Gut wrenching! Heartbroken! Dazed! Confused! Never seen anything like it! It’s like a bomb was dropped! I have nothing left but I thank God I’m alive! I saw the water sweep people away! My son was snatched out of my arms! My mother fell off the roof into the surge! I can’t locate my sister and father! The windows of my house blew out with a boom! The roof flew off the shelter! The walls fell in! Water filled the entire bottom floor of my house up to the ceiling! Bodies were everywhere! The stench of death was in the air! Gone, everything once recognizable is gone! I want to wake up from this nightmare!”

That’s just a mini sample of some of the sentiments expressed by persons after the storm, and though riveting in and of themselves, even those words pale in their adequacy to reflect and express what transpired experientially and materially.

The Nightmare Of A Missing Relative

My family experienced first-hand the nightmare of having a missing relative after the storm.

One of my aunts, a medical doctor who lives on the island of Grand Bahama but held a clinic on the island of Abaco remained on Abaco to ride out the storm.

I spoke with her on the Sunday morning that “Terrocane” Dorian began making landfall and lost all contact with her that afternoon because of the storm.

As a result of this, my family and I had no way of finding out how she fared during the storm or if she was dead or live after it left.

Although we were outwardly calm and kept the faith, not knowing my aunt’s condition or whereabouts was a harrowing experience for me and my family, especially considering the fact that the area in which she stayed was decimated…the word was “Marsh Harbor Abaco is gone!”

Seeing all the pictures and videos of devastation and raging flood waters, and hearing multiple stories of bare survival, death, and destruction via social media and over our local television networks made the situation even more dire, yet we remained prayerful and hopeful and did all we could to find out anything at all about her well-being.

It wasn’t until 3 days later on Wednesday evening that I received a text message from an anonymous number telling me that my aunt said to let me and the family know that she was okay, she made it to a shelter and needed help to leave Abaco.

Once I verified that the information was legitimate, I let my family know my aunt was okay and the rejoicing began…we are so, so grateful to the Lord for keeping her safe and sparing her life in the midst of all the danger… Praise His Name!

Back Home Safe

The ensuing miraculous chain of events orchestrated by God that enabled my aunt to leave Abaco and arrive safely in Nassau, our capital, within the next 24 hours in the midst of thousands and thousands of people trying to do the same thing is too much too relay at this time, but again, I must express thanks and praise to God for His Grace and Favor.

God’s arm of protection was around my aunt in so many ways, especially considering that the entire second floor of the two-story building where she stayed was completely destroyed and she had absolutely no idea of the destruction that had taken place just above her head

It was not until when during the eye of the storm, fearing for their lives, her landlord and his wife who lived in that space fled downstairs to seek shelter in their other apartment unit and knocked on my aunt’s door in transit letting her know what had happened, that she realized what had occurred.

Our story has a happy ending and we are eternally grateful to the Lord for that, but many other persons were not as fortunate.

Because of this, even in the midst of our rejoicing, we mourn with the persons who lost family members to death and with those who still have them missing, and are saddened by the multiple reports of persons who have lost their homes, businesses and all their material possessions…it’s been a true bitter/sweet experience.

Moving Forward

“Terrocane” Dorian has wreaked tremendous havoc and destruction on our Abaco and Grand Bahama islands and in the lives of the people who inhabited those islands.

While addressing the United Nations General Assembly last week, our Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Hubert A. Minnis described Hurricane Dorian as a “generational tragedy” and called on world leaders to take urgent action to combat the global climate crisis. This is critical not only for our nation, but for many other nations of the world.

In an effort to constructively and proactively move forward, Prime Minister, Minnis has established a new government ministry, the “Ministry of Disaster Preparedness, Management and Reconstruction”, to lead recovery and development efforts, as well as future disaster responses in the country.

If you want a better idea of what has happened and what is happening now in the Bahamas in terms of recovery and relief efforts, you can click here to start a Google Search – “Hurricane Dorian Bahamas

Grateful For Assistance

The people of my country and I are extremely grateful for the overwhelming love, concern, support, encouragement, prayer and multi-level assistance that has poured in, and continues to pour in to our nation.

Although a resourceful and resilient people, we need as much help from the international community as we can possibly get as we walk down this almost overwhelming never-before-travelled road of disaster relief, recovery and re-building.

I ask that you remember our nation in your prayers and if moved in your heart to assist in some way, here’s a link https://www.bahamas.com/relief to some of the official organizations and agencies that are able to facilitate the same.

Why God?

Some ask, “Why did God allow this to happen?”

Thoughts, opinions, theories and prophetic words abound, but the truth of the matter is that no one will fully knows or fully understands why…perhaps God may reveal it at the end of time, should He choose to do so.

What I do however know is that no matter what perplexing phenomena occurs in this earth realm, we as Believers must trust God’s Character, Wisdom and Sovereignty, respect the fact that His Ways are Higher than our ways and His Thoughts Higher than our thoughts, and accept the fact that He is God and we are not.

Heal…Re-build…Arise

“Terrocane” Dorian left UNPRECEDENTED DEATH, and CATASTROPHIC DEVASTATION on our islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama, but by God’s Grace, Wisdom, Mercy, and Provision, we will heal, rebuild and arise.

MARCH ON BAHAMALAND

“The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him.”

Nahum 1:7 – NKJV

Peace & Blessings,

Bang!…And Miraculously, Randomly…There It Is!

Bang!…And Miraculously, Randomly…There It Is!

Take a look at the books in the photo above.

Supposed I told you that in a simplified nutshell, this is how each book in the photo came into existence.

A Viable Theory?

In the beginning there was a bang!

Then out of nowhere, letters miraculously randomly appeared.

Then out of nowhere, paper miraculously randomly appeared.

Then the letters that appeared miraculously randomly placed themselves on the paper that miraculously, randomly appeared and formed correctly spelt words….

Then these miraculously randomly formed correctly spelt words miraculously randomly formed complete sentences…

Then these miraculously randomly formed complete sentences miraculously randomly formed comprehensive paragraphs…

Then these miraculously randomly formed comprehensive paragraphs miraculously randomly formed cohesive chapters…

Then these miraculously randomly formed cohesive chapters miraculously randomly came into perfect order.

Then a book cover miraculously randomly appeared out of nowhere..and designs and more letters that became words began to miraculously randomly form on it…

Then the book cover miraculously randomly opened and the paper with the words and sentences and paragraphs and chapters miraculously randomly jumped into the center of the open cover and became miraculously bound….

And poof!…there was the book!

That’s it!

There was no inspired author…just a bang and all of this miraculously, randomly happened and a book was the end result.

Would you believe me?

Of course not.

If it can’t happen for a simple book, do you think it can happen for an entire universe and every living and non-living thing in it?

Selah!

Women of God, let’s be wary of all the theories and philosophies out there that conflict with or seek to undermine or invalidate, as opposed to complement and further enlighten what God has told us in His Word about creation.

The Real Deal

Genesis 1:1 states, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” The rest of that chapter and chapter 2 expands on the process and Psalm 104 and Job 38-42 gives further insight.

“SO WILL I (100 BILLION X) – HILLSONG UNITED

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

John 1:1-3 – NIV

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”

Colossians 1:16 – NKJV

Be encouraged today to hold fast to God’s account of how the universe and all creation came into existence, to teach it to your children, and to share it with others.

Peace and blessings,

Kim

Guard Your Anointing

Guard Your Anointing

I received the following prophetic word, “Guard Your Anointing” by Elaine Tavolacci this morning via my subscription to her website, http://www.awordinseason.info

I believe is a timely word and as such, am re-blogging it with her permission.

GUARD YOUR ANOINTING

By Elaine Tavolacci

The Lord gave me a profound word this week. It may be lengthy but I’d like to share the story from the book of Judges Chapters thirteen to sixteen before I share the word. There was a man in the bible named Samson. Samson’s mother was barren but an angel appeared to her and told her that she was going to have a son. He said that she was not to drink any wine and no razor shall come upon his head because he was called to be a Nazarite dedicated to God from the womb. A Nazarite was an Israelite who followed a rigorous regimen of purity and was consecrated and separated unto God. The angel also told her that her son was going to begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

The angel reappeared to her and her husband Manoah after he prayed. They didn’t recognize that it was an angel as they spoke to him because he appeared as a man although his countenance was as an angel. He repeated to her husband what he had told her. He told them to prepare a burnt offering on an alter before the Lord. As they sacrificed a goat to the Lord, the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, and the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell with their faces to the ground realizing that it was an angel sent by God.

Samson was the last judge of Israel. Every time the Spirit of the Lord came upon him he had supernatural strength. He married a Philistine woman against Gods will and she left him. He killed a lion with his bare hands, he tied up 300 foxes and set their tails on fire to burn down all the vineyards, another time when the Philistines captured him, he broke out of shackles and killed 3,000 men with a jawbone of a dead donkey. One time the Lord brought water out of the ground to strengthen him.

Samson met with a harlot which opened the door for destruction in his life. He then fell in love with a woman named Delilah. We all know the story but there is a lot of metaphors and revelation in the story. Delilah was sent to pervert Samson’s destiny. The rulers of the Philistines went to Delilah and said, “We want to know what makes Samson so strong. Try to trick him into telling you his secret”. Then we will know how to capture him and tie him up. They then offered her a large amount of silver in return.

Delilah insisted that Samson tell her how he obtained his strength. ” Samson lied to Delilah three times before telling her the truth of his strength. He then told her that his strength was from his hair and that he never had it cut. This was part of the Nazarite vow. He fell asleep with his head on her lap and the Philistines came in and cut his hair off. When he awoke he didn’t even realize that he lost his strength. They then gouged his eyes out, put him in prison and made him a grinder. His hair began to grow back in the prison but he still didn’t have eyes.

They brought him outside the prison to perform for them. There were 3,000 men and women laughing at him and mocking him. He asked to lean against the pillars and cried out to the Lord to let him destroy the Philistines for taking out his eyes. Then Samson took hold of the two columns of the temple crying out to the Lord to take his own life also along with the Philistines lives. He then pulled the whole temple down killing the rulers and everyone there. Samson killed more Philistines when he died than when he was alive.

This is what the Lord is showing me. We have heard it said that Delilah represented a spirit of sexual seduction, but Delilah actually represents every seducing spirit. The devil wants to steal your strength. There are seducing spirits today just as Delilah who are trying to destroy your spiritual authority and your destiny. They are controlling, manipulating and sneaky. They will work through people, and they will try to seduce you back to addictions. These seducing spirits will try make believers backslide to drugs, alcohol or pornography. They are spirits of betrayal and dishonor.

Samson’s hair represented his anointing. When he lost his hair, he lost his strength. He lost his focus and tried operating in his own strength. Be careful who speaks into your life. Don’t be swayed by foolish men or women who try to derail you from your destiny. Don’t let others manipulate you. Samson’s eyes represented his spiritual sight and vision. The enemy wants to blind the spiritual eyes of every believer especially the prophets and the seers (Of God). Guard your eye gates. Don’t be deceived by the lusts of the flesh.

Although Samson began to gain his strength back while in prison, he died without receiving his sight. It is imperative to protect your vision. You don’t have to die in your sin as Samson did. Jesus made a Blood Covenant with us and through repentance we are able to turn any situation around before it is too late. Do not allow any seducing spirit to steal your spiritual strength. Your anointing and your calling are more precious than anything in the natural. Jesus is calling you to turn it around now while there is still time.

Judges Chapter 13 to Chapter 16 – Story of Samson

Ephesians 4:27 (TPT) – “Don’t give the slanderous accuser, the Devil, an opportunity to manipulate you!”

1 Peter 5: 8-9 (NKJV) – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour: Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

By Elaine Tavolacci

There’s much to meditate on and prayerfully consider.

Be encouraged!

To My Prodigal Daughter….

To My Prodigal Daughter….

My prodigal sister, I see you in the spirit wearing raggedy clothing…like a garment that has been torn and shredded in many places because of claws slashing at it.

I believe that this is symbolic of what the enemy has done to your robe of righteousness; you’re still wearing it but it’s ragged from his many vicious attacks.

Give me your attention for a moment…this is a word that expresses our Father’s heart to you…

To My Prodigal Daughter

My daughter, I love you.

There has been many trials and tribulations and the enemy has sought to sift you as wheat, but even in the midst of this tumultuous onslaught, I have been there with you, loving you and wooing you back to Me.

Do you not hear the soft whispers of My Spirit telling you I love you, telling you I forgive you, telling you in spite of all that has transpired, I still have a plan and purpose for your life?

Be still and know that I am God.

I will conquer the enemies that have sought to destroy you if you return to Me and begin to seek Me with your whole heart.

I will heal your wounds and mend the broken places.

I will turn your mourning into joy.

I will give you beauty for the ashes in your life.

Seek Me.

Return to Me.

You belong to Me and I love you.

I am wooing you today, I am calling you today, I am drawing you today because I love you My daughter, My princess, My love.

Do not harden your heart; I await you My child.

Know that you are not what you’ve been through…you are not what you’ve done…you are not what has been done to you.

You are all that I say you are according to My Word and nothing can separate you from My love so I await your return to the place in Me that you once knew.

I’m still there, waiting with open arms to receive you.

Come My daughter….come.

Prodigal sister, hear the heart of our Father today.

Run to Him and He will welcome you and hold you and heal you and forgive you and restore the splendor of your robe of righteousness.

I urge you, listen to Him, return to Him…don’t let the enemy win the battle.

“Come near to God and He will come near to you.”

James 4:8 – NIV

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 1:9 – NIV

“When he was still a long way off, his father saw him. His heart pounding, he ran out, embraced him, and kissed him. The son started his speech: ‘Father, I’ve sinned against God, I’ve sinned before you; I don’t deserve to be called your son ever again.’

But the father wasn’t listening. He was calling to the servants, ‘Quick. Bring a clean set of clothes and dress him. Put the family ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Then get a grain-fed heifer and roast it. We’re going to feast! We’re going to have a wonderful time! My son is here—given up for dead and now alive! Given up for lost and now found!’ And they began to have a wonderful time.”

Luke 15:20-24 – The Message Bible

Prodigal sister, like in the parable of the prodigal son, know that our Heavenly Father truly loves you, cares about you, wants you to return, and joyously awaits you..

When He hears you calling out to Him, He will respond favorably to you.

Don’t wait any longer…call out…run into His arms…do it now!!

He’s waiting.

Sudden Death Strikes Again

Sudden Death Strikes Again

“God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble.”

Psalm 46:1 – NKJV

Have You Ever Experienced The Sudden Death Of A Close Loved One?

Have you ever experienced the sudden death of a very close loved one?

I have…three times.

Today I write with mixed feelings.

There is joy, yet there is sorrow.

There is peace, yet there is some perplexity.

But praise the Lord, underlying it all is hope and rest in the Lord and the Truth of His Word.

Sudden Death Strikes

Joining the ranks with my father and old brother, both of whom passed away suddenly, on Monday, my cousin Frank Claude, also known as Prophet Frank passed away suddenly and went to be with the Lord.

Frank was a blessing to my life in so many ways…he was a brother, friend, prayer partner, confidant, support, spiritual covering, helper, encourager, protector and more. He was passionate about the Word, passionate about family and passionate about seeking and doing the Lord’s will and encouraging others to do the same.

I will miss our times of mutual edification and sharing and revelation about the Lord, the Word, the Kingdom, Divine Purpose, life and its vicissitudes, prophetic insights and prayers…and I’m forever grateful for his faithful prayer covering over my life and the lives of my husband and children…and for the many prayers offered up for so many of my extended family members.

Sudden Death Is Never Easy

Sudden death is never easy; it leaves you temporarily riveted in so many ways…

  • It brashly disrupts your mental, emotional and physical equilibrium.
  • It brazenly reminds you of the frailty of life.
  • It soberingly reminds you of the importance of living ready to meet the Lord.
  • It forcefully causes you to candidly evaluate the relationships in your life to see if and where any adjustments need to be made.

Sudden death is never easy…and it is powerful.

Gratefulness In The Face Of Sudden Death

One thing I am so grateful for is that in each instance where I’ve experienced the sudden death of a close loved one, all of my loved ones had received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and had a relationship with God through faith in Him so I know, as the Word tells us, they have gone on to be with the Lord and that one day, I will see each of them again…praise the Lord…\0/…in the midst of everything, that gives me comfort and peace.

I’m also grateful for the many prayers that are going up and covering me and my family and Frank’s wife and children during this difficult time…believe me when I say that prayers lighten the burden and make a great difference.

And Father, I am grateful for Frank’s life, for all the times we shared and for the many blessings you imparted to my life through Him…thank You.

As I close, I thank you for your prayer that our Father, the God of all comfort will comfort us all as only He can as we go through this season…and I pray that should you and your family travel this road in the future, that He would do the same for you.

“Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.”

Matthew 5:4 – NIV

Shalom,

Kim

The Process Of Development

The Process Of Development

I received the following prophetic word, “The Process Of Development” by Elaine Tavolacci this morning via my subscription to her website, http://www.awordinseason.info.

I believe is a timely word for many, and as such, am re-blogging it with her permission.

The Process Of Development

When I was a young girl we didn’t have mobile phones, computers or any type of digital devices. We used cameras to take pictures which had to go through a process of development. A negative was taken through several steps before a photograph was formed. The film was first taken into a dark room. It was then soaked in water, then converted into a metallic silver. It was then rinsed in clean water, and it was finally perfected by light. As the photograph was being developed it was handled carefully to avoid any damage, discoloration, or fading.

We live in a generation who has been spoiled with modern technology. We are able to take pictures instantly from just about any place in the world with a cell phone or other digital device. In the same way, so many of us resist the process that God brings us through, because we are looking for an instant “modern technology” transformation. Every one of us have been taken from a negative situation but so many of us are undeveloped because we haven’t allowed Him to continue with the process in our lives.

It is imperative that we spend time cultivating our relationship with Jesus in the dark room. We need to allow Him to take us through the process of development. This dark room is where our character is developed as our fleshly desires are crucified. This is the place of heartfelt repentance. This is the place where He trains us to hear His voice and know His ways. This is where our gifts are cultivated and dreams are birth. This is where new ideas are developed and new assignments are released. This Is where we place our prayer requests and receive answers to our prayers. This is where the Word of God becomes alive with revelation and vision is established.

The Lord says; allow Me to transform your life in this place. Allow Me to work in you and through you to bring every negative situation into a positive. Do not rebel and do not resist the process. Some say, it is too difficult but others understand that I am walking with them through it all. The process is necessary to be conformed and developed into My image. This is the place where all impurities and defilement will be destroyed and all bruises and blemishes will be erased. This is the place where the rough edges will be smooth out, broken hearts will be restored and wounds from the past will be removed.

The memories of the afflictions and traumas will be wiped away. This is the place where your mind will be renewed and you will learn to walk in integrity and grow in maturity. This place is necessary for your spiritual growth and fruit that will remain. Just as there is a process of maturation in the natural life, there is also a process in your spiritual life. Trust Me when you feel that the process is too challenging. My plans will be established through this process of development. This is where transformation will take place. This is where you will learn to walk, This is the place where you will receive healing and learn to grow into the person that you were created to be, says the Lord.

“Now I’ll listen carefully for your voice and wait to hear whatever you say. Let me hear your promise of peace – the message every one of your godly lovers longs to hear. Don’t let us in our ignorance turn back from following you.”

Psalm 85:8 (The Passion Translation)

“When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.”

Psalm 91:1 (The Passion Translation)

“Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out.”

Song of Solomon 2:10 (The Passion Translation)

When Life Seems Overwhelming

When Life Seems Overwhelming

Life Can Seem Overwhelming

As women, the matrix of our lives can be complex and difficult to handle.

At times we have so many roles to play, so many hats to wear, so many balls to juggle, and so many persons depending on us that life that seems overwhelming.

Overwhelm Threatens…God To The Rescue

In times like these when overwhelm threatens, one thing I’ve found and that I’m grateful for, is that God in His love, grace and mercy often steps in and places someone or something in my path at just the nick of time that either shifts my perspective, changes my circumstances, or speaks to my spirit so the sense of overwhelm is abated…He is so good!

Has that ever happened to you?

When overwhelm threatens, has God ever stepped in and placed someone or something in your path at just the nick of time and as a result, the sense of overwhelm abated?

Has a person ever “just shown up” in the course of your daily activities and begun a conversation or shared something with you that was exactly what you needed to hear?

Or, have you ever “had an urge” to check WhatsApp, iMessage or another social media platform such as Instagram or Facebook and found that someone had sent you a message or posted something that was applicable to your situation and encouraged you in a meaningful way?

Or, have you ever “randomly” turned on a radio or TV program or pulled up a YouTube video that “happened” to have content that spoke directly into your spirit or situation, shifted your perspective and lightened your load?

That’s happened to me many times…God is good!

My First Line of Defense

When life seems overwhelming, my first line of defense is to turn to God for comfort and direction through prayer and the Word just as He repeatedly invites us to do throughout the Scriptures.

In these times, I’ve found that anchoring myself in the Word and prayer and 1), leaning into the reality that I have a Sovereign Heavenly Father who loves me, watches over me and cares about every aspect of my life and well-being, 2), embracing the love, grace and peace of Jesus, and 3), seeking and following the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit in my situation, has been, and continues to be, the stabilizing force that restores me to my needed place of inner and outer balance, making the journey forward easier.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t do it otherwise.

When life seems overwhelming, God, in His totality, and the Truth found in His Word are my anchor, my breath, my harbor, my stabilizer, my counselor, my guide, my peace, and my way-maker, and for that I am forever grateful…\0/

When life seems overwhelming, I pray that you will too turn to God and in Him find all that you need.

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30 – NLT

Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.”

Isaiah 55:22 – NLT

“As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.”

Psalm 119:143 – NLT

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”

Psalms 46:1 – NLT

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

John 14:27 – NLT

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10 – NLT

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

Proverbs 3:5,6 – NLT
