Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
Let your faith, hope and trust rest in Him.
Be diligently about the Father’s business.
Be led by the Holy Spirit.
Walk in peace.
Walk in love.
Seek to win souls….share the Good News of the Kingdom, the message of Salvation, and the glorious hope we have in Christ.
Make disciples….take the time to impart some of what God has given you to other Believers to help them grow strong and mature in the Faith.
Don’t get weary in well-doing, nor distracted and paralyzed by the cares of this world.
Be careful not to get caught up in vain arguments with those opposing the Faith.
Remember that the things of the Spirit are spiritually discerned and understood, and God is the revealer of Truth; you cannot force others to believe or to agree.
Remember also that our battle is not against flesh and blood; it is not against human beings.
It is against satan and demonic forces…..principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
Trying to fight spirit with flesh is vain.
Clothe yourself in the whole armor of God so you may be able to withstand in these evil days and fight with the mighty spiritual weapons He has given us…..the Word, the Name of Jesus, and the Blood of Jesus.
Walk worthy of the calling of God on your life.
Do not bring reproach to the Name of Christ.
Live according to the principles, morals and ethics of the Word.
Know that Grace is not a license to sin.
Be a shining example to others that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Know that everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution so don’t be discouraged or dismayed when it comes.
Blessed are you when you suffer persecution for righteousness sake because yours is the Kingdom.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Jesus; rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven.
You can not be a friend of the world and a friend of God.
Do Not Be Moved
Do not be moved by the rising tide of hatred and antagonism toward Believers in Jesus Christ.
Do not be moved by the scorners of The Word, its truths, principles, practices and morals.
Do not be moved by the mockers of the Church, God’s chosen and called out people.
Do not be moved by the insidious spirit of the antichrist.
Anchor down in God.
Do not be moved.
Know the Most High God, your Father, is Sovereign.
He is the only True and Living God, Jehovah, the Self-Existing Eternal One.
He is Holy, Almighty, All-Powerful, Loving and Wise.
There is none like Him……there has been and never shall be!
His Kingdom is eternal.
His Word is eternal, true and forever settled in heaven.
His purposes shall stand.
The gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church, and you are His Church.
Know God Loves You
God loves you.
No natter what happens, hold fast to this Truth.
Nothing can change it…don’t let circumstances cloud it.
God loves you so much that while you were still a sinner, He gave His only Son up to die a horrendous death on a cross for you so He could redeem you to Himself and have a relationship with you.
God’s love for you is immeasurable.
His love for you is everlasting.
There is nothing that can separate you from His love.
Know God loves you.
No matter how the enemy rages against the Most High God, His Word, His Kingdom, His Plans, His principles, His Purposes and His People, he shall not prevailsokeep standing, keep believing, keep hoping, keep trusting, keep praying, keep obeying, keep worshipping, keep praising and hold on to your Faith because in the end, we win!
Globally, there’s heightened unrest, turmoil, and instability in almost every sphere of our human existence.
Natural disasters, wars, terrorism, violence, crime, persecution, social unrest, unemployment, economic uncertainty, political instability, climate change, famine, sickness, disease and on top of all of that, now there’s the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) taking its toll, especially in China…no more needs to be said.
In the midst of the swirling chaos and threatening angst, the Lord has a message for us, His people.
It’s the same message He has always given throughout the ages when life’s challenges came crashing in upon us like a flood and coldly stare us in the face up close and personal without blinking.
That message is, “Fear not!”.
You may be thinking, “Be for real!…How in the world can I not fear?…Don’t you see what’s going on in my country and around the globe?…I mean, just look at the reality and the dark looming threat of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)…How can I not fear?…How?
Listen, fear is not just an emotion resulting from a belief that someone or something poses a threat to us.
The scripture tells us that it is a spirit, and it is not from God.
II Timothy 1:7 states, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.“ (NKJV)
The Amplified Bible puts it this way…
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].” (AMP)
Fear Is A Spirit
Fear is a spirit.
It’s a spirit that seeks to cause us to take our eyes off of God and the truth of His Word and keep them on the complexity of our circumstances.
It’s a spirit that seeks to throw us into a panic mode, casting off sound judgment, discipline, self-control and the ability to hear the Holy Spirit and thus be equipped to make wise decisions.
It’s a spirit that seeks to weaken our resolve and make us cower and shrink back from challenges, situations and assignmentsthereby preventing us from being and doing what God has called us to be and do.
It’s a spirit that seeks to sell us the lie that God is not enough…He’s not big enough, powerful enough, knowledgeable enough, wise enough, loving enough or concerned enough to see us through...therefore we can not trust Him and we are on our own…THAT IS A LIE!
It’s a spirit that seeks to place us in bondage and torment, to grip us in its tentacles, paralyze us, and to try to squeeze the very life out of us.
Fear is a spirit and it is not of God.
We Are Empowered Not To Fear
Just considering the above, it’s easy to see why throughout the scriptures, God instructs, admonishes, and even commands us not to fear.
God will never ask or tell us to do anything that He has not already given us the capacity or made a way for us to do, so the fact that He tells us not to fear means that by His Grace and Holy Spirit, we have been given the ability to resist, bind and cast out fear...we are empowered not to fear.
No matter the situation or circumstance, by God’s grace and the empowerment of His Holy Spirit, we do not have to fear.
God wants us to trust Him and not fear.
He wants us to stand on the Truth of His Word and not fear.
He wants us to cast our cares upon Him and not fear.
He wants us to not worry about anything but to pray about everything and not fear.
He wants us to rest in His everlasting, immeasurable unconditional love and not fear.
He wants us to keep our eyes, hearts and minds stayed and fixed upon Him and not fear.
He wants us to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty and not fear.
God has not given us a spirit of fear and by His grace and the empowerment of His Holy Spirit, we can conquer fear.
How To Combat Fear
Prayer, meditation on the Word and declarations in alignment with the Word are powerful ways to combat fear.
The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries overseen by Dr. D. K. Olukoya has some very powerful prayers and prayer points relative to fear on their website.
For copyright reasons, I can not replicate them in this post, but you can access them by clicking the link below.
10 Bible Verses That Remind Us We Do Not Have To Fear
in addition to prayer, meditating on God’s Word is very important to combat fear.
Below are some scriptures that we can meditate on that will help us not to fear.
Be encouraged to read them and say them over and over until they become engrained in your mind and spirit, overpowering and uprooting every contrary thought and force.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
(II Timothy 1:7 – NKJV)
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?”
(Psalms 27:1 – NKJV)

(Isaiah 41:10 – NKJV)
“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah””
(Psalms 46:1-3 – NKJV)
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

(John 14:27 – NKJV)
“3 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. 4 In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?”
(Psalms 56:3-4 – NKJV)
2020 has rolled in with an amplified bang!
In the midst of the swirling chaos and the threatening angst, the Lord’s message to us is ‘Fear not!”.
2020 is not just a new year, it’s the beginning of a new decade.
That means that the old 10-year period of 2010 – 2019 has ended and the new 10-year period of 2020 – 2029 has begun.
It’s like a clean slate…what is God guiding you to write on it?
It’s like a fresh wind…in which direction is His Spirit blowing you?
It’s like standing at an enormous buffet…what is He telling you to put on your plate, and what is He telling you to pass by?
If you’re not certain, be encouraged to spend some time in prayer, in the Word and in God’s presence and inquire of Him until you sense what He’s saying to and requiring of you.
James 1:5-8 states…
“If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. 7 For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, 8 being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].” – (AMP)
May the remaining 10 days in January be a time of fruitful contemplation, consecration, repositioning and grounding for the year and decade ahead…that is my prayer for you.
Below are sone wisdom nuggets that I thought I’d share with you today…be strengthened and encouraged.
Never compare yourself to other women. There will always be someone more attractive, competent, fluent, poised, articulate, intelligent, qualified, fit, influential, funny, talented, anointed, popular or shapely than you are. That’s okay. The attributes God gave you are tied into His purpose for you, so maximize what you have and shine in your own unique way for His glory.
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Psalm 139:13-14 – NIV
Take care not to allow the pressure of expectations, the lack of understanding, the looks of disapproval, the negative vibes, the critical spirit, the absence of support, the wary facial expressions, the scorn, the gossip, or the threats from those around you, or even closest to you, cause you to divert from or abandon the path, the process and ultimately the fulfillment of what you know to be God’s will, plan and purpose for your life. Focus and stay focused.
“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.”
Proverbs 4:25, 26 – NIV
Watch the company you keep…the people, books, magazines, music, movies, T.V. shows, videos, websites and social media you hang around and regularly expose yourself to. Whether you’re aware of it or not, they influence your thoughts, desires, emotions, speech, behavior, decisions, and very posture in life either for better or worse. Watch the company you keep.
“Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
I Corinthians 15:33 – NIV
Though others may despise them, never despise your tears. Cry when you need to cry. Cry when you don’t even know why you’re crying. The pouring out of tears is God’s masterful way of washing stuff out of the depths of your soul and giving you a sense of relief, refreshment and renewal.
Supposed I told you that in a simplified nutshell, this is how each book in the photo came into existence.
A Viable Theory?
In the beginning there was a bang!
Then out of nowhere, letters miraculously randomly appeared.
Then out of nowhere, paper miraculously randomly appeared.
Then the letters that appeared miraculously randomly placed themselves on the paper that miraculously, randomly appeared and formed correctly spelt words….
Then these miraculously randomly formed correctly spelt words miraculously randomly formed complete sentences…
Then these miraculously randomly formed complete sentences miraculously randomly formed comprehensive paragraphs…
Then these miraculously randomly formed comprehensive paragraphs miraculously randomly formed cohesive chapters…
Then these miraculously randomly formed cohesive chapters miraculously randomly came into perfect order.
Then a book cover miraculously randomly appeared out of nowhere..and designs and more letters that became words began to miraculously randomly form on it…
Then the book cover miraculously randomly opened and the paper with the words and sentences and paragraphs and chapters miraculously randomly jumped into the center of the open cover and became miraculously bound….
And poof!…there was the book!
There was no inspired author…just a bang and all of this miraculously, randomly happened and a book was the end result.
Would you believe me?
Of course not.
If it can’t happen for a simple book, do you think it can happen for an entire universe and every living and non-living thing in it?
Women of God, let’s be wary of all the theories and philosophies out there that conflict with or seek to undermine or invalidate, as opposed to complement and further enlighten what God has told us in His Word about creation.
The Real Deal
Genesis 1:1 states,“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” The rest of that chapter and chapter 2 expands on the process and Psalm 104 and Job 38-42 gives further insight.
“SO WILL I (100 BILLION X) – HILLSONG UNITED
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”
John 1:1-3 – NIV
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
Colossians 1:16 – NKJV
Be encouraged today to hold fast to God’s account of how the universe and all creation came into existence, to teach it to your children, and to share it with others.
I received the following prophetic word, “Guard Your Anointing” by Elaine Tavolacci this morning via my subscription to her website, http://www.awordinseason.info.
I believe is a timely word and as such, am re-blogging it with her permission.
GUARD YOUR ANOINTING
By Elaine Tavolacci
The Lord gave me a profound word this week. It may be lengthy but I’d like to share the story from the book of Judges Chapters thirteen to sixteen before I share the word. There was a man in the bible named Samson. Samson’s mother was barren but an angel appeared to her and told her that she was going to have a son. He said that she was not to drink any wine and no razor shall come upon his head because he was called to be a Nazarite dedicated to God from the womb. A Nazarite was an Israelite who followed a rigorous regimen of purity and was consecrated and separated unto God. The angel also told her that her son was going to begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.
The angel reappeared to her and her husband Manoah after he prayed. They didn’t recognize that it was an angel as they spoke to him because he appeared as a man although his countenance was as an angel. He repeated to her husband what he had told her. He told them to prepare a burnt offering on an alter before the Lord. As they sacrificed a goat to the Lord, the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, and the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell with their faces to the ground realizing that it was an angel sent by God.
Samson was the last judge of Israel. Every time the Spirit of the Lord came upon him he had supernatural strength. He married a Philistine woman against Gods will and she left him. He killed a lion with his bare hands, he tied up 300 foxes and set their tails on fire to burn down all the vineyards, another time when the Philistines captured him, he broke out of shackles and killed 3,000 men with a jawbone of a dead donkey. One time the Lord brought water out of the ground to strengthen him.
Samson met with a harlot which opened the door for destruction in his life. He then fell in love with a woman named Delilah. We all know the story but there is a lot of metaphors and revelation in the story. Delilah was sent to pervert Samson’s destiny. The rulers of the Philistines went to Delilah and said, “We want to know what makes Samson so strong. Try to trick him into telling you his secret”. Then we will know how to capture him and tie him up. They then offered her a large amount of silver in return.
Delilah insisted that Samson tell her how he obtained his strength. ” Samson lied to Delilah three times before telling her the truth of his strength. He then told her that his strength was from his hair and that he never had it cut. This was part of the Nazarite vow. He fell asleep with his head on her lap and the Philistines came in and cut his hair off. When he awoke he didn’t even realize that he lost his strength. They then gouged his eyes out, put him in prison and made him a grinder. His hair began to grow back in the prison but he still didn’t have eyes.
They brought him outside the prison to perform for them. There were 3,000 men and women laughing at him and mocking him. He asked to lean against the pillars and cried out to the Lord to let him destroy the Philistines for taking out his eyes. Then Samson took hold of the two columns of the temple crying out to the Lord to take his own life also along with the Philistines lives. He then pulled the whole temple down killing the rulers and everyone there. Samson killed more Philistines when he died than when he was alive.
This is what the Lord is showing me. We have heard it said that Delilah represented a spirit of sexual seduction, but Delilah actually represents every seducing spirit. The devil wants to steal your strength. There are seducing spirits today just as Delilah who are trying to destroy your spiritual authority and your destiny. They are controlling, manipulating and sneaky. They will work through people, and they will try to seduce you back to addictions. These seducing spirits will try make believers backslide to drugs, alcohol or pornography. They are spirits of betrayal and dishonor.
Samson’s hair represented his anointing. When he lost his hair, he lost his strength. He lost his focus and tried operating in his own strength. Be careful who speaks into your life. Don’t be swayed by foolish men or women who try to derail you from your destiny. Don’t let others manipulate you. Samson’s eyes represented his spiritual sight and vision. The enemy wants to blind the spiritual eyes of every believer especially the prophets and the seers (Of God). Guard your eye gates. Don’t be deceived by the lusts of the flesh.
Although Samson began to gain his strength back while in prison, he died without receiving his sight. It is imperative to protect your vision. You don’t have to die in your sin as Samson did. Jesus made a Blood Covenant with us and through repentance we are able to turn any situation around before it is too late. Do not allow any seducing spirit to steal your spiritual strength. Your anointing and your calling are more precious than anything in the natural. Jesus is calling you to turn it around now while there is still time.
Judges Chapter 13 to Chapter 16 – Story of Samson
Ephesians 4:27 (TPT) – “Don’t give the slanderous accuser, the Devil, an opportunity to manipulate you!”
1 Peter 5: 8-9(NKJV) – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour: Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

There’s much to meditate on and prayerfully consider.
